Jordan Vauvert Pentastar: In The Style Of Demons a eu un accueil mitigé de la part du public, paraît-il. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi. D'accord, la pochette est... moche ou, en tout cas, elle paraît hors de propos quand on s'attend à du drone. Sauf que Earth n'y fait pas du drone, justement. Cet album est un hommage au rock des années 70 : les riffs sont hypnotiques ("Introduction", "High Command") et les solos sont incroyables.
Tellement immersif que je l'ai écouté deux fois de suite sans m'en rendre compte. Favorite track: Peace In Mississippi.

pinkflamingott for the mere fact that it contains one of the best guitar solos in whole rock history! Favorite track: Coda Maestoso In F (Flat) Minor.

Levrikon A truly underrated record that informs pretty much every Earth album since. Gone are the long-form droning monstrosities on Earth 2, replaced by a series of meditations of repetition that distill rock music into its most basic component parts: The riff and the beat, nothing more. Favorite track: High Command.
